Leader of the Transformer rebellion against the Quintessons, second in command of the rebellion was Beta. The rebellion was a succes and the Quintessons retreated from Cybertron. Later A-3 changed his name into Alpha Trion.

Abominus,

This Transformer is a Gestalt, formed by the five Terrorcons.

Ace Evader,

Decepticon from the second generation. Transforms into a stealth bomber. The box contains a second Transformer, which transforms in a fighter.

Actionmaster Elite Figures,

The only four Actionmaster who are able to transform themselves. Their names are:
Double Punch
Omega Spreem
Turbo Master

Actionmasters,

Group of first generation Transformers which cannot transform themselves. They all have a weapon or vehicle that is able to transform.

Aerial,

She is the girlfriend of Orion Pax. At the start of the Cybertronian War she got wounded by Megatron, Alpha Trion rebuilt her into Elita One.

Aerialbots,

Group of five Autobots. They were created in The Key To Vector Sigma, part 2. Alpha Trion had to merge with with Vector Sigma to activate it and thus Optimus Prime was able to give the Aerialbots personalities. The Aerialbots met Alpha Trion twice. One time they were transported to the past by Megatron, there they met Orion Pax at the start of the Cybertronian Wars. When Orion Pax got wounded, they brought him to a repair unit, which was manned by Alpha Trion (See War Dawn). The second time that they met him was when A-3 (Alpha Trion) got transported to the future by the Quintessons, the Aerialbots were able to keep him safe and returned him back to the past (See Forever Is A Long Time Coming). Together they transform into Superion. As toys they have all been released for a second time in generation 2, all had different colors. Their names are:

Afterburner,

Autobot. Transforms into some sort of motorbike. He is one of the Technobots.

Aimless,

Nebulon. Transforms into the weapon of Misfire.

Airazor,

Maximal. Comes from the Beast Wars. Transforms into an eagle.

Air Hammer,

Maximal. Comes from the Beast Wars. He is a Fuzor, transforms into a creature part hammerhead shark, part hawk.

Autobot Micromasters. This is one of the Micromaster Patrols. The group is formed by:

Decepticon Micromasters. This is one of the Micromaster Patrols. The group is formed by:

Autobot. Transforms into a fighter. He is one of the Aerialbots.

Airwave,

Decepticon. Transforms into a plane. The missile base of Airwave transforms into an airport. He is one of the Micromaster Battlestations.

Alpha Trion,

Autobot. He led the rebellion of the Transformers against the Quintessons under the name A-3 (See Forever Is A Long Time Coming). At the beginning of the civilwar of the Transformers he helped the casualties. The Aerialbots brought him the wounded Orion Pax whom he rebuilt into Optimus Prime. He rebuilt Orions girlfriend Aerial into Elita One (See War Dawn). He stayed on Cybertron after the Autobots left. There he helped the remaining rebels, which were now lead by Elita One (See The Search For Alpha Trion). In The Key To Vector Sigma he merged to Vector Sigma to activate it, in order to create the Aerialbots. In Rebirth, part 2 Optimus Prime contacted him within Vector Sigma and Alpha Trion gave him information needed to save Cybertron.

Apeface,

Decepticon. Transforms into an ape or a plane. He is a Headmaster Triple Changer. His head is formed by Spasma.

Aquafend,

Autobot. Transforms into a race car. He is one of the four Aquaspeeders.

Aquanaught,

Decepticon. Transforms into a car. He is one of the four Stormtroopers.

Aquaspeeders,

Group of four Autobots. They are all equiped with a waterpistol. Their names are:

Deluge

Arcana,

Nebulon. Transforms into Brainstorms head. He is a scientist from profession.

Arcee,

Female Autobot. Transforms into a car. She appears for the first time in The Movie. After The Movie she appears in almost all episodes. She has a special bond with both Daniel and Springer. In The Rebirth, part 1 she decides to become a Headmaster with Daniel transforming into her head.

Archforce,

Decepticon from the second generation. Transforms into a tank. He is equiped with a water pistol. His face looks a lot like Megatrons face, just like Sureshots face looks a lot like Optimus Primes face. In the US he seems even to have been released in the second generation as Megatron.

Ark,

This is the spaceship in which the Autobots and Decepticons crashlanded on Earth. The Autobots used this carshed ship as their headquarters on Earth (See More Than Meets The Eye, part1). Especially the board computer of the Ark; Teletran One often proves vital for the survival of the Autobots. In Five Faces Of Darkness, part 5 the Ark was destroyed by Trypticon.

Arkeville,

Doctor Arkeville invented hypnochips which enabled him to keep other humans as his slaves. He used this invention to make a deal with the Decepticons (See The Ultimate Doom). In Countdown To Extinction he got wounded by an electrical discharge, Starscream had him operated and a large part of his body was changed for robotic parts. The last time that he is seen in the series, he is a prisoner of Starscream on Cybertron (See Countdown To Extinction).

Armordillo,

Maximal. Comes from the Beast Wars. Transforms into an armadillo.

Astro Squad,

Autobot Micromasters. This squad is one of the squads of Micromaster Combiners. The group is formed by:

Astrotrain,

Decepticon Triple Changer. Transforms into a train or a spaceshuttle. In the series before the The Movie he is very important for the Decepticons, because he makes spacetravel possible for them. In The Movie he transports all Decepticons when they flee from Autobot City.

Headquarters of the Autobots on Earth. It was built in between the series before The Movie and The Movie itself. See also Metroplex.

Autobot Micromaster. This truck transforms into two planes. The truck is operated by Full-Barrel and Overflow.
